WHAT IS BIO/NEUROHACKING?

Well to keep things simple, Biohacking can be mostly described as a self approach to altering or optimizing ones biology, where as Neurohacking can be considered a subclass of biohacking, focused specifically on the brain.
Recently, biohacking and neurohacking have become a fairly popular topic with conversations ranging from making small, incremental diet or lifestyle changes to rewiring your brain and stimulating neuroplasticity.
Neurohackers seek to optimize neurocognition by “hacking the brain” to help improve reflexes, learn faster, or treat psychological disorders.
Dave Asprey a renowned biohacker states;
"If we want better outputs—to have more energy and focus, to be free of disease, to have a better memory, to perform optimally in business and athletics—then let’s tweak the things we put into our body and mind to stack the deck in our favor."
Biohackers use the tools of the Quantified Self to measure these inputs and outputs, and to experimentally test the effect of different tweaks. The Quantified Self is an international community of users and makers of self-tracking tools who share an interest in “self-knowledge through numbers.”
The general idea of both biohacking and neurohacking is to make informed experiments on oneself to help optimize bio-functionality.
